Crazy List
Sometimes we come across things that are so bizarre or unusual that we can't help but stop and take notice. Here is a list of some of the craziest things ever!
1. The Casu Marzu Cheese
This is a traditional cheese from Sardinia, Italy that is made by leaving the sheep's milk out in the sun until it begins to ferment. Then a type of fly is introduced to the cheese which lays its eggs inside. The larvae then burrow their way through the cheese, helping it to become soft and creamy. The cheese is traditionally eaten with the live larvae still wriggling inside.
2. The Blobfish
The Blobfish is a deep sea creature found off the coast of Australia. It has a gelatinous appearance and looks like a melancholy face. It's not often seen by humans but has become famous for its unusual appearance.
3. The Monkey Orchid
This orchid, found in South and Central America, looks exactly like a tiny monkey. The flowers are small and brown with a furry texture, and the monkey-like face has white and pink markings.
4. The Crooked Forest
Located in Poland, this forest is filled with around 400 pine trees that have grown with a 90-degree bend at their base. The reason for their shape is still unknown, with theories ranging from human intervention to natural causes.
5. The Forbidden Zone
The Zone Rouge in France is a vast area of land that was heavily bombed during World War I. The area is still poisonous and uninhabitable due to the thousands of unexploded bombs and gas shells. It remains closed off to this day.
